Return to Sado part 7
After a short down hill spin we arrived in the historic village of Shukunegi . This village was a base for ship building in the old days and in this small village there are 210 houses constructed in an area of 1 square hectare. So as you can imagine the streets are narrow, more of a footpath than a street, the village was 1st started in the year 1192 and it really is an amazing place to visit. Yet again we were pressed for time so after a quick walk through the narrow lanes of the village and after taking many photos we mounted up and headed back up the hill towards the town of Ogi.
