Niigata , Yahiko, Iwamuro 100km loop part 3

After a tough slog heading back along the seaside line in the head wind I finally made it back to my bicycle shop which was closed for the day, but a delivery truck had delivered 6 new bicycles so I'll be busy tomorrow building them up as all of them are customers orders that have been purchased in the last few days. After a short break I rode to my favorite place to eat " Cafe Velo " and had the cottage pie set and a couple of locally brewed Echigo beers which went down really well after such a long hot ride. Lessons learned today - wear sun lotion even in May, my Kona saddle is very uncomfortable on long rides and my Keen Austin pedal shoes are a lot more comfortable than my old Shimano MT31s ! Pictured below are a few photos taken on my return to Niigata City シーサイドラインに沿って逆風の中の厳しく困難な帰路でしたが、どうにかこうにか休業日のフルマチバイシクルに戻って来ました。休業日ではありましたが、宅配トラックが６台の新しい自転車を届けに来ました。それらはここ数日中にお客様から注文のあった自転車なので明日はその組み立てで忙しくなりそうです。少し休憩した後で私のお気に入りの食事処「カフェ・ヴェロ」へ向かいました。カフェ・ヴェロではカッテージパイ・セットと地ビールの越後ビールを数杯いただきました。暑い日に長く自転車に乗った後だったので本当にすっきりとしました。私が今日得た教訓は次のとおりです。５月でも日焼け止めローションを塗ること。私が今Konaで使っているサドルは長距離には不向き。私にとってKeen AustinのペダルシューズはシマノのMT31ｓよりもはるかに快適。　下の写真は新潟市への帰路の写真です。
